How to Sell in Online Marketplaces

There are three resources that I will describe in the following article.  The first, is the big mac daddy of online selling - Ebay.   Ebay has a huge userbase and basically any product imaginable for traders to buy or sell. All of these resources are free to use, however you will be charged fees for selling items on Ebay and Amazon which is one of the main draws of Craiglist - no fees.  Craigslist is different because they charge you no fee for their services.  Ebay charges 10% of the final value of the item and Amazon charges a similar amount for each item you sell on their website.   I guess the main attraction to marketing and selling your items on any of these websites is the exposure your item gets.  If I list my items on these webpages I'm almost guaranteed to receive some quality potential leads because of the large number of consumers on these marketplaces.

Amazon - Amazon.com also has a seller's page where you can market your products. Amazon has millions of users and seems to know what they're doing when it comes to online selling.

Craigslist - Craigslist.com has been around for a while so I probably don't need to explain this one.  Craigslist is very similar to Ebay and lets you buy and sell items in an online marketplace.
